OVERVIEW:
Get in The Scrap! is a product of the Education Department of
The National WWII Museum that strives to equip educators teaching grades 4-8, across the country with materials about the impact of recycling during WWII and today.
This website serves as a digital extension of the limited printed curriculum, allowing educators across the country to gain access to
this work.
INTENDED USER ACTION:
Educators will utilize this website to register their classrooms, download lesson plans and activities and connect with Museum staff.
THE PROBLEM:
A lack of teachers understanding how to register for this program and create an easy and clear way for teachers to contact the Museum team to keep the team updated.
THE SOLVE:
Previously this website was a multi-page site, that didn’t have a clear navigation or clear CTA for registrations. We decided to craft a one page experience that kept all the core information upfront and center. We crafted a layout that worked to make the registration process clear and simple, while keeping the user on the page vs diverting them away.
