The Greater New Orleans Foundation (GNOF), has supported the community of New Orleans for over 30 years dedicated to ensuring that New Orleans, its people and its culture, are preserved, celebrated, and supported.
For the 10-year anniversary of Hurricane Katrina, GNOF approached Peter Mayer with the ask of creating a special thank you for the support of the non-profit organizations and volunteers that have contributed to the New Orleans we know and love today.
Utilizing audio recordings and simple footage, we’ve recreated what it was like in those moments. Those moments when everything felt upside down.
